Idag har det ett \u00f6k\u00e4nt f\u00f6rflutet och en kuslig n\u00f6jesparksk\u00e4nsla. Det nuvarande tornet \u00e4r 103 meter h\u00f6gt, med huvudobservatoriet p\u00e5 en h\u00f6jd av 91 meter.
